Price Is Right wins the emmy

While at Mark Goodson Productions and Fremantlemedia, I was very fortunate to work on many classic gameshows, such as Family Feud, Match Game, Now You See It, Double Dare and others.  But the one that was the most important in my life was The Price Is Right.  I was part of that show since the very first episode.  Guiding the show through many years, creating games, and working closely with Bob Barker, the show weathered 35 extremely successful years during my tenure.  Even though I departed the show in 2008, the program is still part of my DNA---I know every little nuance of prizes, games, and what it takes to host the Price Is Right.

The proudest moment I had as producer of The Price Is Right, was the night I had the honor of accepting the emmy on behalf of the program for best daytime game show,   We were up against some mighty serious competition---Jeopardy and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.  To be honest, I wasn't expecting to win---Jeopardy always seems to win and Millionaire was still riding high.

There is no doubt that it was a thrill to be at Radio City Music Hall.

The Price Is Right eventually won a total of 5 Emmys!
