A few days after Christmas we left for a five day trip to Lake Tahoe.  In order to make the trip more fun we decided to stop over in Sacramento and see what we could see there..  We, of course, could have made it up in one day---but would that be fun?---too much driving in one day!  We stayed at the Holiday Inn right next to Old Town Sacramento.  It was a very pleasant hotel, but nothing memorable.  After getting there we decided to have dinner in Old Town Sacramento which we could walk the two blocks to.
